- Gigabit network expansion: The MERCUSYS MS106GP V1 desktop switch provides six 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 ports, including four PoE+ ports and two data-only uplink ports for connections such as a router and network video recorder.
- Power and data through Ethernet: Ports 1–4 support IEEE 802.3af/at compatible IP cameras, wireless access points and IP phones. Each PoE+ port supplies up to 30W, subject to the shared 65W total PoE power budget.
- Extended PoE reach: Extend Mode supports transmission up to 250m on the four PoE+ ports, reducing their speed to 10 Mbps. Actual reach depends on cable quality, cable type and connected-device power consumption.
- Traffic isolation and priority: Isolation Mode separates traffic between ports 1–4, while port prioritization supports time-sensitive voice and video applications.
- PoE Auto Recovery: Automatically restarts connected PoE-powered devices that stop transmitting data for an extended period.
- Simple installation: Plug-and-play operation, auto-negotiation and Auto MDI/MDIX simplify deployment. The fanless metal housing supports quiet desktop or wall-mounted installation.
- Switching performance: 12 Gbps switching capacity and a 2K MAC address table with automatic learning and aging.
- Network standards: Supports IEEE 802.3i, 802.3u, 802.3ab, 802.3x, 802.3af and 802.3at.
- Cabling: Standard Gigabit connections support distances up to 100m using Cat. 5e or higher UTP/STP cabling.
- Compact dimensions: 99.8 × 98 × 25 mm, with an operating temperature range of 0°C to 40°C.
