- Gigabit network expansion: The MERCUSYS MS128GP V1 rackmount switch provides 28 Gigabit interfaces: 24 × 10/100/1000 Mbps PoE+ RJ45 ports, 2 × 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 uplink ports and 2 Gigabit SFP slots.
- 295W PoE power budget: Ports 1–24 power IEEE 802.3af/at compliant devices, with up to 30W per port within the shared 295W total budget. Suitable for compatible IP cameras, wireless access points and IP phones.
- Dedicated data uplinks: The two RJ45 uplinks and two SFP slots provide data connectivity without PoE output. The SFP slots support compatible 1000 Mbps SFP modules for fiber connections.
- Extended PoE transmission: Extend Mode supports distances up to 250m on four long-range PoE+ ports, reducing speed to 10 Mbps. Actual reach depends on cable quality.
- Traffic isolation and priority: Isolation Mode separates traffic on ports 1–12 and 13–24, while Priority Mode prioritizes ports 1–4 for applications such as video surveillance.
- PoE Auto Recovery: Ports 1–24 can automatically reboot connected PoE devices that stop transmitting data for an extended period.
- Switching performance: Features 56 Gbps switching capacity, store-and-forward transmission and an 8K MAC address table with automatic learning and aging.
- Plug-and-play installation: No software configuration is required. Hardware operating modes provide practical control without centralized switch management.
- Metal desktop or rackmount housing: Two cooling fans support operation in network environments. Dimensions are 440 × 180 × 44 mm (W × D × H), with an operating temperature range of -10°C to 45°C.
