- Power backup for homes and small offices: The APC Easy UPS BVX1200LI-MS provides 1200VA / 650W capacity to help maintain connectivity during unstable power conditions.
- Line-interactive protection: Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) corrects voltage dips and rises. The UPS uses a stepped approximation to a sinewave, with a typical transfer time of 6 ms and a maximum of 10 ms.
- Five protected outlets: Includes 4 universal outlets and 1 IEC 60320 C13 outlet, all offering battery backup and surge protection. Surge energy rating is 273 J.
- 230V operation: Single-phase 230V AC input and output, an IEC 60320 C14 input connection, and auto-sensing 50/60 Hz input frequency. Output frequency is 50/60 Hz synchronized to mains.
- Battery runtime: Listed runtime is 1 minute at 650W and 5 minutes at 300W. Actual runtime depends on the connected load and battery condition.
- Included battery: Internal 12V, 9.0Ah lead-acid battery with a typical recharge time of 8 hours and a stated battery life of 2–3 years. Compatible replacement cartridge APCRBC175 is sold separately.
- Simple status monitoring: LED indicators show utility power and battery operation. Cold start allows the UPS to start without utility power.
